Victorian Aboriginal Funeral Services
The Victorian Aboriginal Funeral Service is currently operated through the Aboriginal Advancement League and is staffed by Aboriginal people who have been associated with the community for some time.
The Service provides forms of assistance in carrying out funerals offering advice and information including procedures of a funeral service, coronial matters and interstate body transportation.
Funerals are charged according to cost, with consideration to families experiencing difficulties.
